Business Impacting Education Breakfast

IRVINE, CA – On Tuesday, November 7th, Vital Link, a local Non-profit organization dedicated to revolutionizing the career exploration process for Orange County students, will be holding its first Business Impacting Education breakfast at the Rose Center in Westminster. Attendees will be hearing about innovative programs from various speakers including Jan Gameroz, Program Manager for Community Health Information at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, Dale Ward, Executive President of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, and BIA/OC’s own Lawrence Jones.

Lawrence Jones is the Director of Education and Industry Outreach for BIA/OC. His discussion will feature the Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA) and its many successes. The four year old program has already received national recognition and touches the lives of student’s every day at Western & Katella High School in Anaheim. The goal of BITA is to develop a construction program that will produce skilled industry professionals by providing a cutting edge curriculum. Lawrence will also be discussing the wonderful results BITA has seen among students thus far.
Vital Link’s Business Impacting Education breakfast is one of the many ways the business community is impacting education and bettering the industry. Together the BIA/OC and Vital Link are working to connect the business and education communities.
