![]() UC IRVINE EXTENSION – NEW WINTER QUARTER SEMINAR Regulatory Permitting and the Development Process Learn how to coordinate the environmental permitting and consultation requirements for projects subject to CEQA and NEPA. Gain an understanding of the laws and regulations that apply to land use projects related to impacts to wetlands, streams, and other waters; endangered species; historic resources; and water quality. Instructors: Kenneth M. Bogdan, J.D., is an environmental planner and attorney with more than 17 years experience in developing environmental compliance strategies for projects at Jones & Stokes, a consulting firm specializing in environmental planning and natural resource management; Sheila A. Riggs, M.S., has specialized in wetland delineations and regulatory permitting under Section 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, and Sections 7 and 10 of the Endangered Species Act for over seven years.
