Bryan Starr

Bryan M. Starr – Deputy Executive Officer/External Affairs – is an advocacy strategist specializing in jurisdictions located in the Southern California Region. Bryan has worked primarily on issue advocacy related to the building and development industry in the areas of commercial and residential development, merit trade labor, and construction industry workforce development.

Bryan is the primary liaison to the Government Affairs, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Urban-Infill/Multi-Family Housing committees. His objective is to ensure a clear line of communication between the development community and local government officials. Recently he was appointed by the Irvine City Council to serve as a member of the Irvine Community Land Trust Inaugural Board of Directors, and currently is a Board Member for Orange County Housing Providers, Orange County Transportation Authority Stakeholder Advisory Committee and a member of the Orange County Fire Authority / Building Industry Advisory Task Force. Mr. Starr serves as an alternate board member for the Orange County Council of Governments and was recently appointed by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to serve as a commissioner for OC Waste and Recycling.
